Dr. Shea Gregg is a husband, father, entrepreneur, trauma surgeon, and active board/committee member in several national academic and innovation organizations. He currently serves in leadership roles at a university medical school and a busy, inner-city hospital while continuing to care for critically ill surgical patients. As an entrepreneur, Dr. Gregg founded FallCall Solutions in response to the increasing number of older adult trauma victims he was treating and to disrupt the stigmatizing narrative associated with traditional medical alerts. Following nine years under his leadership, the multi-patented FallCall safety platform for Apple Watch, iPhone, iPad, and Android is available on three continents, supports thousands of older adults and caregivers, and provides 24/7 emergency access to care at a lower cost. He is a Board Director and Committee Chair in the US-based Connected Health and Safety Association.
