Dr. Jennifer Schaumberg’s journey to becoming an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon began at the University of Michigan, where she completed both her undergraduate education and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Driven by a passion for surgery and patient care, she continued her training through an internship and residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. Those years provided a rigorous foundation in complex surgical care while reinforcing the importance of compassion, precision, and lifelong learning.
After completing her training, she entered private practice with the goal of building more than a surgical office—she wanted to create a place where patients felt genuinely cared for and supported. As her practice grew, so did her family. Becoming the mother of three children strengthened her empathy, resilience, and commitment to treating every patient with respect, honesty, and individualized care. Surviving Stage III breast cancer gave Dr. Schaumberg a deeper understanding of the patient experience, strengthening her commitment to compassionate care, meaningful relationships, and serving her community.
