Dr. James Loging, MD, MBA, FAAOS, is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon and Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons who has dedicated his career to helping patients regain mobility and improve their quality of life. A graduate of the University of South Carolina, the Medical University of South Carolina, and the Darla Moore School of Business, Dr. Loging specializes in advanced joint replacement, anterior total hip replacement, minimally invasive Jiffy Knee® replacement, sports medicine, and shoulder surgery. He practices with Palmetto Bone & Joint, serving patients throughout the Midlands of South Carolina from offices in Newberry, Chapin, and Irmo. He also owns Glō Skin Bar and Medical Spa in Chapin, South Carolina, which offers numerous health and wellness services.

Beyond medicine, Dr. Loging is a passionate aviator, photographer, and animal rescue advocate. Known as "The Flying Ortho," he volunteers his time, aircraft, and resources to transport rescue dogs from overcrowded shelters to foster families and forever homes through lifesaving aviation missions. His commitment to service, both in and out of the operating room, has earned him recognition as one of America's Most Honored Doctors and the respect of patients, colleagues, and communities throughout the Southeast.
