After graduating from medical school in Pakistan,
Dr. Habib Khan came to the United States for his residency in neurology and internal medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, followed by a fellowship in sleep medicine at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Once his stellar education was complete, he and his family moved to Casa Grande, Arizona, where he became the only neurologist for the growing community. Eventually, he would go on to establish his award-winning neurology and sleep specialist practice, the Arizona Institute of Neurology & Polysomnography.
In his tireless commitment to helping the community where he and his wife raised their family, he founded the DIL Foundation (dilfoundation.org), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, in 2012. DIL focuses on providing low-cost healthcare, lifestyle counseling, and entrepreneurial education to elevate individuals’ standard of living. To extend his reach in educating others on living their best life—physically, emotionally, and spiritually—he has written two bestselling books, An Ounce of Prevention and Do You Mind. His dedication to helping others is extraordinary, and he is constantly working on new projects to help individuals live longer with greater independence.
